Requesting Training
- If you have any questions about which instrument best fits your needs, please contact BIF staff (bif@northwestern.edu) prior to requesting training.
- Send your request for training via email to BIF (bif@northwestern.edu), or request training through NUCore. We will inform you of the next available training date and ensure that you have any relevant information prior to training.
- If you are a new user, you will need to complete the New User Application form. This form can be found here. Please bring a signed physical copy to your training session, or send a digitally signed copy to bif@northwestern.edu. If you are a current BIF user requesting training on a new instrument, you do not need to fill out the form.
- Trainees must complete the Office for Research Safety’s Basic Laser Safety Training before beginning training on the microscope.
